POINT ELIZABETH HARBOURS.
THE ADMIRALTY SCHEME. (Feom Our Own Cch&bespondent.) WELLINGTON, June 18. The Hon. A. R. Guinness has written to Sir Joseph Ward, urging him to bring under the. notice of the Imperial Defence Conference the desirableness of construct-* "ing an Admiralty harbour at Point Elizabeth. The suggestion k not a new one, but the last time it was before the Honwii authorities an unfavourable decision was come to on the score of expense. Since that time- about £1500 has been expended in. getting surveys made, and Sir Joseph will, it -is understood, do his best to* get the authorities to approve of a scheme.
