(c) Submitted as in note (a). (d) 14 18, the initiative to draw against 31 26, loses if played against 32 28, as by the following play: —
(E) 8 11 loses by 31 26, 9 13, 18 9, 10 14, 19 15, 11 18, 9 6, 13 17, 6 2, White wins. (F) 26 22, 14 18, etc., Black wins.
