HAWKE'S BAY WINTER MEETING. First Day— Wednesday, June 16. The first day of the Hawke's Bay Jockey / Club's winter meeting was held to-day in fine weather, and there was a large attendance. The investments on the totalisator amounted to £6045. as compared with £6154on .the first day of last winter meeting, or a decrease of £108.
