G. writes respecting his three-year-old coH being kicked on the near stifle. When syringing it, he says a small piece of white gristle came from the wound, which seems to be almost continually running. — If the pi-ace is much swollen bathe it with warm water in which a, little Jeye's fluid has been mixed once or twice a. day. Then dress the wound with a. lotion of sulphate zinc 6drs, acetate lead loz, to a pint of water. Apply +he lotion morning and evening. Keep the colt in a quiet, clean, comfortable loosebox. and at the same tirco feed him with soft sloppy food.
