PIETERMARITZBURG, June 8. A crowded meeting held here overwhelmingly supported union. The apprehensions of the Natal civil servants .are disappearing, and the feeling is arising that if Natal stands out now she will have ultimately to come in on worse terms. MARITZBURG, June 14. It is reporteci at Marilzburg that Mr Botha desires that Dr Jameson shall be the first Premier under the union. CAPETOWN, June 9. There are rumours that Rhodesia will be included in the South African Federation. The Cape Assembly has approved Mr Hofmeyer and Mr Merriman as the union delegates to the London conference. June 10. Mr Merriman (Cape Colony), Mr Fischer (Onangia), and Mr Botha (Transvaal) telegraphed the electors of Natal on the eve of the referendum pleading for a united South Africa. Incitement in Natal is at fever heat, both sides holding huge demonstrations. June 13. The Natal referendum resulted in 11,121 votes being cast in favour of union, and 3701 against DURBAN, June 12. Latest reports in Natal indicate that
there will be a substantial majority in favour of union. Mr Fischer, Air Steyn, Mr Hertzog, and Mr Browne, the last-named a member of the Legislative Council, will represent Orange River Colony at the presentation of the new Constitution. LONDON, June 13. The South African union delegates will be the nation's guests during their stay in Great Britain. ,
