PROCESS THEATRE.
Unpleasant weather notwithstanding, there was a very large audience m the Kt*c**a Theatre on the 14th when the \vlde- world Picture Company put on a change of programme. The Wide-wond ■Picture-, now enjoy a reputation of being a £n?t-c!ass entertainment, and the present Jeiies of pictures, pleasing in all respect, well maintain the hi- w standard set by the proprietary in th« past. The latter eeern to geek chieflq to in-^truet and amuse, and to select films accordingly, and this week its efforts in that direction are unusually successful. Pictures that tend to educate are a very complete series showing &ea lions being hunted, village life in, remote [parts of Ireland, Lapland scenes, and banana cultivation; while among those fiiins compiled with a view to creating kaehter are "The Wrong Medicine, ** The Drawbacks of Fame," " The Obstinate Umbrella," and "A Mysterious idiief." The latter is an illustration of a "dream supposed to have visited two bucolic .oolicemen, and, as a picture, it is particularly clever and unusually funny. Among othe*- pictures was a depiction of the eto:y of "Ingomar." another illustrating a melodrama," "Tragedy in a kipsy C->inn." a well-known series entitled "Saved By His Dog," and a Normandy •tudy, "The Shepherdess."
