Assets. — Coined ,gold and silver and other coined metal, £1,715,578 Is sd ; gold and silver in bullion or bars, £50,008 13s 6d ; notes and bills of other banks, £93,824 Is 2d ; balances due from other banks, £1782 19s lOd ; la.nded property, £106.530 16s 4d ; amount of all other securities — (1) Notes and bills discounted, £1,082,194 5s lid; 12) colonial Government securities, £1,083,021 ; (3) debts due to the bank (exclusive of debts abandoned as bad), £7,481,800 2s; (4) securities not included under the above heads, £725,628 11s 2d;— total average assets, £12,403,368 11s 4d.
