NO-LICENSE CAMPAIGN.

•CHRISTCHURCH, December 4. The No-license party held a great demonstration at a tea and public meeting in His Majesty's Theatre yesterday afternoon and evening. The building was crowded on both occasions, especially in the afternoon, being the weekly half-holi-day. Speeches were delivered by the leaders of the movement, and resolutions of thankfulness to God for past success and confidence in the future were passed. The meeting was very enthusiastic, and £130 was raised in the room for the fighting fund.
