MefroV politpn Committee was held on Thursday afternoon to hear an appeal lodged by Mr Sh-exJdom a,gajnst the decision of the Wintcttk Jockey Club's stewards in disqualifying hi* horse Loftue for running inside a post in the Flying Handicap at its meeting on vember 7. Mr M'Rae (president (of the Wanton Club) aa>d Mr Sheddon were both, present, And after the statement of the - club and witnesses oald-ed for the appellant hod been heard it was Tuuiimousiy resolved that upon the evidence before the club th« appeal be upheld.
