THE LOCH LOMOND.
iiORE WRECKAGE FOUND. AUCKLAND, November 27. The s.s. Apui, which arrived at Auckland to-day, bi ought the name board of i the uiissinij barque Loch Lomond. The \\ lvckage was picked up at Ranganui, 29 miles soutli-ea^t of the North Cape. The word "Loch" is missing, but "Lomond" appears on the board, which is * 10ft in. length. The Scotch thistle is also painted on the board. J Tbeie is no doubt that the wreckage belongs- to the Loch Lomond. A bucket, bearing the letters >¥ och" was also seen between Cape Maria and Scott's Point on the west coast. The finder of the- first wreckage, reported about 30 miles south of Cape Maria on the w«st coast on October _17, subsequently found a ship's door with a. hole cut in the centre .and compas gimbals lashed in with a fishing line. ■ Some deckhouse panels are also stated to be ashore near Hukatere, on the Ninety-mile Beach. A door, which might be a companion-way door, ie also said to have been found in tlie direction of Cape Reinga.
