EXPERIMENT BY THE MANAGER 05 THE NORTH BRITISH AND HAWKE'S BAY PUKETAPU STATION. With a view to ascertaining the truth, or otherwise of certain statements made re the profits to be derived from dipipinW lanibs in Quibell's Non-poisonous Liquid Dip prior to putting them on rape, th« following report from Mr M. A. M'Leod, manager of the North British and HawkeY Bay Puketapu Station, wiH be read witlj interest by sheep-owners generally — i.e.:-* "To Messrs .Dalgety and Co. (Ltd*. Napier, H.B. •'Dear Sirs, "Having heard a grea* deal about in<? benefits to be derived by dipping lambs before putting them on rape la yiubells JX on-poisonous Dip, I resolved to prove the assertions made for myself. "I accordingly selected a flock of lambs of uniform quality, and run off one-half the number, which I dipped in "QurbcH's Liquid as directed; the otiher half I lei* undipped. At the end of a, month both lots were cent to the freezing "works and killed; the undipped lot averaged 311 beach and those dipped, as before otated, 341b each. . " In my opinion the results far more th*ni justify any claims made for tho dip tfe this direction. " (Signed) M. A.
