Crippled N. 2. Roy Now Active and Well,

Suffered for Three Years, and thought to be Dying. His bones decaying through bad blood.' Best medical treatment failed to { .care him. Owes his life to fir | Williams' Pink Pills. His mother [ testifies to the permanency of his . cere* . - When young Lsonard Wills, of Manga- \ maire, Now Zealand, was cured some years ago by Dr Williams* Pink Pills when he vr»& thought to Be dying, the whole neighbourhood was interested in' his case, and the question everyone asked was, "Will he stay cured?" To-day his mother answers the question. There isn't a more robust boy of his age in New Zealand. The boy had contracted a form of blood poisoning which attacked hi 3 bone*. H« was utterly unable to walk, and had to be wheeled about in a go-cart. 3?or two ye«r 9 he -was a sufferer, and had to be keot in bed wrapped in wadding. He was a com* plete cripple. When the doctors failed to cure him his mother, Mrs Minnie Wills, gave him Dr Williams' Pink Pills, and,. to use her own words: "Leonard can run like a hare, ond can swing an axe or crack a whip with any of his brothers. His cure 16 certainly a miracle." His mother and grandparents made the following deeiaration in regard to hig health since he was oured: — I, Minnie Wills, widow, Mangamaire, New Zealand, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the attached testimonial, in reference to the cure by Dr Williams' Pink Pills of my eon Leonard Lionel Wills, ia true in every particular. That my said son: is' now quite well,* and has, since the date of hie cure by Dr Williams' Pink. Pills, enjoyed excellent health and shows no sign of a recurrence v of his illneas; and I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing, the 6aine to. be true, and bj virtue cf the provisions of an act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The* Justice of the Peaeo Act. X 882." (Sgd.) MINNIE WILLS. Declared at MangainQ.ire this eighth day of April, one thousand nice hundred andl eight, before me R. SMITH, J.P. Mtb Wills made the following statement at tho time of the boy's oure: — , " I thought Leonard was sickening for the measles," eaid Mrs Wills. •We soon .had to call in a doctor, and in less than a week he was delirious. We bh-en noticed the lad complained about his shoulder being core- and painful. If we happened to take hold of his right arm he would scream with pain. When his .shoulder was examined we noticed that it was somewhat swollen and inflamed-looking, and very painful to "touch. The doctor declared that the lad was suffering from Inflammation of tho shoulder-blade. We were ordered to apply hot- fomentations and hot poultices 1 to bring it to a head. The doctor then lanced the lad under the armpit, and said! that he had never seen such a discharge ofi pus. The wound never properly healed. It formed into a gangrene ulcer, and kepfc "up a> continuous -cii^cH^xr^-e, Other ulceia formed on the top part of the armpit. Tho ■doctor then declared that the bone was diseased, and shortly afterwards pieces oB 1-cno a 1 -* greon as grass began to work outi cf the :-ores. Then a small pimple formed! on tho outside of tho anklo; this also broket out, aid formed into a running sore. Tho doctor declared he must go into the hospital and have the bones scraped, and thati if ho didn't have thw done the disease* would work all through his system, taiA h/* woukl die. The boy became a complete cripple, and had to be kept in bed wrapped! in wadding, as he could not bear clothing of any sort near his skin. We had mi special go-cart made for him when he was strong enough to leave bod. as he was utterly unable to walk — in fact, he was too weak to s ; t up,— and wo also had a speeiat bed for him. Leonard had suffered two ream when we decided to give Dr Williams' Pink Pills a trial. Wo noticed in a few* weeks after starting taking Dr William*** Pink Fills that his appetito was improving. and we were delichtod to see him gr&wnlgj stronger. The discharge from the sores prow !.'53 every day, and eventually healed! right up. There is hardly any mark oni hi* ank'e. and with the exception of at few pitrj where the bono came away hia \rm and shoulder are auite well. Tha doctor of'-n inquires how the tad it. Ho cart n;,n lik/» a hare, and swing an axo or crack a whip with any of his brothers.' Hi* rurp ie cortnin'v a ,miracle. We 'thought that wo wouW have lost him." Mangratainoka. 7th April. 190?.
