PENINSULA. ROAD BOARD.
The adjourned meeting of the Peninsula Road Board, held on Saturday, was attended by Messrs M'Curdy (chairman), Black, Chur, Hiddell, and Weir. Tho clerk was authorised to obtain the necessary strichnine to poison two bushels of grain for the destruction of small birds. The board decided to pay 2s per 100 foa heads and. eggs of small birds. Mr Riddell applied for a crossing »t the ■ Hmekiln. — The request was granted. . The members for Sandymount Subdivision were authorised to have the culvert lowered at the junction of the Sendymount road: The surfaceman was instructed to olean water table and make good the road on Fittgerald's Hill. Accounts were passed for payment to th* amount of £98 8s 7d. The board then adjourned till S»tmd*T, December 6» ~ ■**"" * * ~
