CARACAS, Auguet 28. Tne Civil. Court in Caracas has mulcted

a French cable company in a fine of 5,000,000d0l damage, besidiee a further amount to be assessed hereafter, for complicity in the Matos revolution. The- decision is a repetition, of that against the New York Bermudez Asphalt Company, cabled on August 16 last year.

In Augu6t last year the Venezuelan Court fined the Bernrudez Asphalt Company £J.,000,000 for aiding Matos in a revolution. The material damages were assessed at a later date.
