THE STAMBOUL FIRE.

CONSTANTINOPLE, August 25;

Seven thousand people have been rendered homeless as a result of the fire in Stamboul. Five thousand buildings were destroyed. A number of firemen and also women and children perished.

August 28.

The impression is gaining ground that the great fire in the Stamboul quarter was the work of incendiaries.
