CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER* CHRISTCHURCH, April 15. William Diamond, the medical practitioner who was concerned m the motor car accident afc .Aldington on the night of February 22, when Sydney. Raymond Merritt received fatal injuries, was" charged before Mr. X- G - Day. S.M., at the Priice. Court this afternoon with V causing';-* the death of Merritt by his negligent a-tid-improper driving, and thereby oommittinz the crime of manslaughter. The accusea was committed for trial, bail m £250 beingallowed. #
