It was decided to adopt the recommendation of the executive to continue the mission m Timaru, and that Bro. Edmonds be asked to assist Bro. Greenwood " m the work. At a later stage of the proceedings it was resolved to accept with thanks and gratitude the services of Bro. E. T. Edmonds as evangelist on terms contained m his letter, -covering travelling expenses and entortainments, and that' his services be used at the discretion of the executive. With regard to the Ashburton, Gore, ahd Kaitangata Churches, it was agreed to recommend that the evangelioal. claims of the churches named . be favourably considered by the incoming executive, with power to deal with the matter, and that the incoming executive be requested to engage Bro. Bull as evangelist at the termination of his engagement m temperance work. m ELECTION OF OFFICERS * The choice of officers resulted as follows : Conference Executive — President, Bro. T. H. Mathieson (Oamaru) ; vice-president, Bro. J. D. Familton (Oamaru) ; secretary and treasurer, Bro. W. Kilgour (Oamaru) ; Home Mission Committee — Bros. A. Roy (chairman), T. Arnold, J. M.
