Following are the returns of the duck Bgg-laying competition to the 11th inst. : — Knight, 28; Williams, 19; Ruben, 22; Spiers, 20; Cuff, 22; Smithers, 14; Lucy, 23; Eitehing, 13, Kearns, 14; Gaze, 8; Dowthwaite 29; Halm, 9; Woodward, 23; Gibbons, 21; Scott, 30; Penberthy, 22; West, 33;. Knight, 17; Savage, 31; Butler, 9. The highest totals to late are : —Dowthwaite, 1144; Knight, 1138; West 1106.
