THE LATE MR DAVID SYME
MELBOURNE, April 16. The late Mr David Syme's Victorian estate is valued for probate at £879,535. It provides that a sum of £50,000 be put aside for a fund for public institutions. Liberal allowances axe made to certain of (the employees and his five sons, who are carrying on the business of the newspapers Age and Leader. April 17 The late Mr Syro. left bequests to the literary and other members of the Age staff, ranjging from £50 to £500.
