The installation of Bro. James Sandilands Douglas as Worshipful Master of Lodge Maori, No. 105. and ihe investiture of officers took place on Monday. 3rd .ihst., in thY pre-" sence of an overflowing assemblage of members and visiting brethren. The installation ceremony was performed by the R.W. Grand' Superintendent Bro. C. J. Ronaldaon, and the ceremony of investiture by the R.W. Bro. W. G. P. O'Calla-han, G.S.W. On conclusion of the latter ceremony an I.P.M. jewel was presented to the retiring W.M. (Bro. W. Crawley) by the Grand Supterintendent on lehalf of Lodge Maori, this function being succeeded by the usual co^ection in add tbe Widows and Orphans and Aged Masons' Fund, over £10 being collected in the lcdgeioom After the lodge was closed, the brethren retired to the supper room, where the usual loyal and patriotic toasts were duly honou'ed, and a long and varied programme of speeches, songs, and musical items provided a m J»t enjoyable entertainment Songs were contributed by BrosJt Ja°o, D White. R. Hawcnd-e, A. Dempster, C Otto, a r d R.acli. Bro. Boyd contributed a trombone solo, and several excellent selections were rendered by St. Andre V 8 orchestra. Br«. R.
