OVER- LEGISLATION.
A VISITOR'S OPINION. (From Ora Own Coekespondent ) AUCKLAND. March 3. Count Morner (Consul-general for Sweden in Australasia), who left by the Manuka for Sydner last evening after a two months' sojourn in New Zealand, goes away much! impressed by our legislation. There is far too much interference here with the life of the private individual, he oonsidere. "What has struck" me most in God's own country," he said yesterday, "is that you 6-eem to have forgotten that God's own law only had 10 commandments. I had very liberal ideas when I arrived here, but after what I have seen and learnt I have become quite a Conservative."
Forty-five thousand goats have been placed on a ranche at Lowney Junction, New Mexico. It i« the largest goat ranch 6 in the world.
