KAIKORAI CLUB.

The following are the principal clauses in the report, which will be presented'ro members of the Kaikorai Football Club at the annual meeting: * Your committee congratulate the club on the increased membership. During the season a Fifth Grade competition was started by the Rugby Union, and your committee entered two teams in this gTade, and the success attained by these teams promises well for the future. The following table shows the success of each team: —

The Second and Third teams, taking into consideration the heavy draw made on them by the Seniors, did very well. The Fourth and Fifth A teams are to be commended for their success, but they were assisted to their positions by several old players donning the jersey for the Second and Third, and consequently allowing the lower grades to obtain that combination which is necessary to success. The I Fifth B, composed of very young lads, are to be commended for the manner in which they kept together,, and appeared in every match arranged for them. In regard to training, the three higher teams were very lax, with the exception of a few individuals in each team. The club played a match with the Timaxu Star at Easter, and after an enjoyable game came off victors by 19 points to 3. Many are looking forward to the return visit. The club were represented in the Otago team by Messrs A. M'Donald, E. E. Booth, and K. Adamson; in the inl«r-island match by Messrs M'Donald and Booth. These two payersp 'ayers were also selected for the New Zealand team, and worthily upheld the honour of the province. Mr A.
