LYTTELTON SHOOTING CASE.

VICTIM STILL LOW. CHRISTCHURCH, March 9. Norton Hall appeared at the Lyttelton Police Court this morning charged with, on March 7, attempting to murder Alexander James Muir. He was further charged with resisting arrest by attempting to fire a revolver at Constate Moriarty. On the application of the police, Hall was remanded until MaTch 16. There is very little change in the condition of the wounded man, whose chances ofrecoverv are regarded as unfavourable. He ia still lying on the . couch in a room at Clarke's Boarding-house, where the shooting took place. He passed a fairly good night, and seemed somewhat brighter and more cheerful to-day.
