How to Sweep an Invalid's Room.
I It /cry often worries and bewilders the a ! home nurses, who usually are the mothers, s how to dust and clean a room occupied by f «. sick person, as the dust from sweeping is J very annoying to the patient, and so is the untidy room, if the patient is not too ill c to notice, and also to the attending mother. - A capable trained nurse recently used the 7 following remedy, which proved very ejfec- - tual. Put a small portion o^ ammonia in a a pail of warm water, and with a mop, - wrung dry as possible, go all over the .car- , pet, thus collecting the dust and. much of c the loose dirt. Then a broom will take y -what is too large for the mop, and not t raise any of the objectionable 'dust. WW ith a dust cloth well sprinkled, _ go over the , furniture, and the room will be fairly i cleaned-—Selected. j ;
