THE KAISER'S REST CURE. The Kaiser, on the occasion of his recent visit to England, went for a rest cure to H ghcliffe, a village in Hampshire. Our photograph shows the Kaiser walking out of the castle gates chatting with Colonel Legge on his way to the Parish Church of Highcliffe. Motor cars had been ordered in case the weather was wet, but they were not required. It was the first time that the Kaiser had ever been seen on foot in the HighchfEe lanes. The suite followed behind his Majesty who took off his hat to the people as he passed them. —Photo, by Halftones, Ltd.
