MARLBOROUGH.

A grass fire broke out on.. the 3rd inst. on the range of hills to the south of Blenheim, the property affected being the Wither Run, which is a portion of the Carter Estate.^ Several hundred acres of pasture were devastated, some fencing was burned, and about £300 worth of oat crops in stook destroyed. A party of fire-iighters stopped Hie further spread of the flames.
