D.L.F. PAGES. Old Writers' Week.
jOUR REUNION. ! My Dear Lit He Folk of the Present and of the Past,— lt has been with very great pleasure that I have realised, on going through the letters that have reached me for publication in Old Writers' Week, how strong is the bond that knits together the members of our large family. In almost every letter ' there is some affeotkmate recognition of the benefits our page has been able to bestow on the writer, some kindly greeting to friends who .would have remained unknown to each other but for that same medium of intercourse. The letters from Old Writers "time Itave been urore to ate than jx»3t pleasant reading; they have been vital, and real, - and warm. Last year, at the time of Old Writers' Week, I did not know Darky J from Areta, of Bert from Ceres; but during the fourteen months of my office I have met/ a number of the older as well as the presentday writers, " and now that I have some acquaintance with , them their letters have .personality behind, and are of much deeper interest to me. So many letters have been received this time that it is impossible to publish them all in one issue, and they have been divided between the Witnesses of December 11, 18, and 26. No system of division has been observed at all, for many of the letters arrived during my absenoe, and were handed over to me »fl together, so that I was not even able to arrange them according to dates of arrival. , But the following writers are contributing letters to one of the Witnesses mentioned :— 1.
