Moist Hands.
In hot weather the hands' are apt to become uncomfortably moist and warm, and it is difficult to keep them in a normal condition.. A remedy that helps to make them more comfortable will be found in JEau de Cologne, which,, if rubbed over them from time to time, will keep the -skin temporarily dry. Toilet powder dusted -over the hands and rubbed into the skin is also of use in absorbing moisture, but it has the disadvantage of- leaving it* mark on dark clothes or other things with which, it comes in contact. Bathing the bands in toilet or ordinary vinegar and water is an approved temporary remedy for a moist skin, and liquid -ammonia added to the water used for washing th« hands is also useful for the same purpose .
