N.Z. FOX TERRIER CLUB.
At a committee meeting of the N.Z. Fox I Terrier Club, held on December 4, trophic* to the value of £50 were allotted to Dunedin for. their 1908 fixture, mostly for the smooth-haired variety; and trophies to the value of £30 to the Wellington Kennel Club, mostly for wire-haifis. It was resolved that the New Zealand Kennel Club be informed of this matter, and that a request be made that the challenge classes for smooth-coated fox terriers be granted to IKnedirj, 4M the same for wire-hairs
to Wellington. Twelve unfinancial members' names were erased from the members' list. Notices as to arrears having been posted and no notice taken,' the committee ! have decided to take action and expel. A' circular was presented inviting subscriptions to the new breeders' cups, which the club purpose 'starting, but was held over until a meeting to be held on the 18th, wheH the "conditions," "etc:, will" be carefully gone into, and it^is then proposed to issue the same early irr the new -year. -The question of providing members with the club's monogram — small, and neatly made in. silver, to be worn when attending the various shows — was carefully gone into, but nothing decided upon. The committee thought it a good move, as members attending shows could then get into touch with one another.
