Wheat continues to be offered, mostly in small lines, but 83 holders decline to accept the lower prices now ruling Qittle business has been done. The quantity d cats offering is= extremely limited, and the
maiket ha= appreciably weakened during the last few weeks. Chaff continues to come forward freely, l.ut the market is weaker. The potato market is extremely dull, and it <~eems difficult to sell at any pnee. The fo! owing quotations are for purchases from farmers, net ca^h. tacks extra, except where otherwise specified: — Wheat (nominal;.— Prime nulling. 5s Gd, at country stations. Oats (nominal) — Prime Duns 3s 8d ; Canadiai.s, Sparrowbills, and CKirtons. 3s 6d ; Danish. 3s 6d, at country stations. Chaff — Oatsbeaf, pume bright, £3 10s at cojntry stations.
