ST. JOHN AMBULANCE BRIGAD.
The fifteenth annual meeting of the St. John Ambulance Brigade was well attended. Superintendent J. E. Bono presided, and -several visitors, intending _ members, and ex-membere were also preesnt. During the evening five new name, were nominated for membership. Ino fifteenth annual report was read and adopted.. It is very gratifying to note that the St. John Ambulance Brigade baa now completed ite fifteenth year since formation in Dunedin,/ and w at present at perhaps ite strongest, and with every proapeot of growing in the future. _ The report embodied the working of the brigade since the last annual meeting. At the close of the meeting a hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Dr Butement, which was carried by, acclamation, and a word of praise was accorded to the secretary for the interest shown by him an the work of the corps. Mr Frank W. Frazer, of Scone, N.S.W., writes:— "l was touring New Zealand some time ago, and owing to the continued wet weather contracted a very ievere cold.
