A teacher was instructing a class of boys, and had spent half an hour trying 1 to drive into their heads the difference between man and the lower animals, but apparently with little success. "Jacky," he said coaxingly io a little chap, "ck> you know the difference between, say, me and a pig or any other brute?" "No," replied Jaoky innocently.
