OUTRAM.

December 9. — Since my last the weather, with the exception of one oi two thunder showers, he- been beautifully fine and hot. Farm work is well advanced, and stock, owing to thS abundance of grass, is in good condition.

Social.— The Bible Class closed the session with a social on Wednesday evening, 27*h November. Delegates were present from the Mosgiel, East and North Taieri,' Allen ton, and Maungatua classes. The evening was socially spent with games and music. Refreshments were provided by the ladies, antT greatly appreciated. Brass Band.— The West Taieri Brass Band contributed a highly-enjoyable programme of music on Tuesday evening, 3rd mst. The band is making splendid progress, and with a little more practice should develop into a first-class band.
