A bankruptcy which Mr Gerard, the officiaJ assignee, characterised as a flagrant case wes inquired into at a meeting o£ creditors yesterday. The bankrupt, who was a building contractor, commenced operations in 1902 with a capital of £35, ancj up to the time- when it was considered advisable that hie affairs should be given into otl'cr hands had undertaken svven contracts, of which ho completed six.
