CHARGE AGAINST A BANKRUPT.
ASHBURTON, December 6. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr V. G. Day, S.M.. Arthur LonsdalsZouch, who became bankrupt six weelrst. ago, was charged on three counts with failing to keep proper books, with concealinj! or destroying certain books relating to h3 affairs, and with failing to produce certain books. Accused reserved his defence, and after hearing evidence for the prosecution the Bench committed him for trial at the Supreme Court at Timaru on February ♦, bail in one surety of £50 being allowed.
