CENTRAL CHARLTON GOLD DREDGING COMPANY.
The ninth annual meeting erf the above company was held on Moriusy -afternoon. Mr W. E. Reynolds occupied the chair, and there were «ix other shareholders present. In moving -the adoption of the annual report sad balance sheet {already published) the Chairman said the position of the company was most satisfactory. During the year the dredge had worked 6628 hours, and had recorded 47 weekly returnß aggregating 9630z 19dwt, of the value of £3358 17s 4d. The company had paid 21 dividends of Is each, j which amounted to the very handsome total of £7350 returned to shareholders. The dredge and machinery had been kept in gcod repair, and ro heavy expenditure was anticipated during the current year The retiring directors. r It was resolved that the shareholders «fc press their appreciation of the services of th« dredgemaster (Mr James M'Coikindale) and j crew. j The Chairman moved that the secretary B» accorded a vote of thanks for his excellent services during the year, and th»t he b» granted a bonus of £10. — Carried.
