ALLEGED ARSON.

November 16.

At the Police Court Robert Bunt, a wellknown axeman, was committed for trial on a charge of arson. The evidence showed that the accused' 6 watch and chain were found on a sledge, that a tin of kerosene was removed from the washhouse bearing blood-stains, and that there was a wound on tho back of accused's hand. A doctor said that this wound could not have been inflicted by a knife or a bottle. Accused said that he fell on a bottle.
