OTAGO CRICKET ASSOCIATION.

At a meeting of the Otago Cricket Association correspondence was read from the secretary of the Star Club stating 1 that the reason his club had used the wioket belonging to the High School team was the large number of players attending its practice, and to the fact that they were unable to *bo accommodated on their own pitch. — It was decided to inform the Star Club that they must desist in future from using tho- High School's pitch without the school team's permission. Exception wa« al<*o taken to tho ton 3of the letter received from the Star Club.

Mr D. H. Thomson, hon. secretary Canterbury Cricket Association, wrote notifying that his association proposed to send a representative Second Grade team to Dunedin on December 25 and 26 to play a local second team if the suggestion met with the approval of the Otago Association. — It was decided to agree to the proposed mat oh, the gate receipts to bo equally divided. Messrs A., M'Lean, W. Maclean, and D. Stalker were appointed to select the Otago Second Grade team.
