Intimate friends of these two gentlemen speak highly of their integrity and uprightness in all their dealings, and also of their geniality and kindness to each and all placed in their charge during the early coaching days of the southern ' provinces. Much sympathy is expressed from this quartei for the friends and relatives of the deceased gentfemen. Tourist Season. — The Lumsden-Te Anau coach opened the season's running on Wednesday, 31st ult., and the number of passengers travelling so early augurs well for a -busy and prosperous season.
