EGG-LAYING COMPETITIONS.
BLENHEIM, November 15. The Blenheim egg-laying total for th« week was 2537, and the grand total 50,720. The highest for the week were: — Scofb (white Leghorn), 37 ; Kilgour (white Leghorn), 37; Leesington (white Leghorn), 37 ;j Mick Thaw (white Leghorn), 32; Alice Dodaon (black Orpington), 36. The higheat to date are: — Herald (wbite Leghorn), 718 ;« Law (white Leghorn), 600; Dodaon (black Orpingtons), 691 ; Silkwar (white Leghorns), 690; Treichert (white Leghorn), 634;; Brown (white Leghorn), 679. CHRISTCHURCH, November 17. The total number of eggs laid last week in the Utility Poultry Club's competition, at Lincoln College was 1027, making 27,363 to date. The highest layings for the week were:— W. O. Sail (white Leghorns). 37;, J. Tonge (white Leghorn)s, 34; J. J. J. Tonge (white Leghorns), 33; F. G. Britton (white Leghorns), 33 ; W. A. Nixon (silver Wyandottes), 32; J. H. Shaw (silver Wyandottes), 32; A. Snodgrass (black Orpingtons), 31 ; W. A. Nixon (white Leghorns). 31; Allan Petrie (white Leghorns), 31 ; T. H. Holland (white Leghorns), 30; Mrs W. O. Sail (silver Wyandottes), 30. The highest totals to date are:— Allan Petrie (white Leghorns), 772; Miss Rita Nixon (white Leghorns), 748; J. Tonge (white Leghorns), 726; W. Forreet (black Orpingtons). 725; W. O. Sail (white Leghorns), 706; T. Kennedy (silver Wyandottes), 701; W. Knight (black Orpingtons). 686; H.
