LONDON, July 15. T At the wool sales prioes were firm all round, and there was animated competition for merinos.

July 16. At the wool sales the following were the average prices realised lor the clips named:— Ngaio, 10id; Kawaran, lOJd. Good wools firmly maintained their prioes, but short faulty soooreds joe 5 per cent, easier compared with May rates.

July 17. The wool sales are firm, acd competition is very keen for the best wools. The average price realised for the clip marked RS over T was lljd.

July 18. At the wool sales the average prices realised for the clips named were as iotW:— Elderslie, Is 3d; Gear, lOjd;. Kawakawa, 10£ d. Merinos were firm, and crossbreda occasionally were slightly in buyers* favour. July 19. Merino and fine crossbreds are firm a# full rates. Low crossbreds are easier. July 21. At the wool sales there is keener competition for crossbreds, and more spirited bidding for merinos, which are in sellers* favour. The following were the average prices realised for the clips named:—* Ben Ohau, 9|d; Waiau, 10£ d; Kaputone, 20d; Kaimata, 12|d ; Hiku, 12d.
