IIYDROPATHIC INSTITUTE.
A Hydropathic Institute, the first of its kind in Dunedin, has just been opened at Montpellier, Queen's drive, by Mrs K. Burn. The institution is admirably fitted up with everything that is necessary for a complete scientific treatment of cases bj hydropathy. It has accommodation for five or bix patients, while special attention is paid to tho treatment of outdoor cases. In the first place, the institution: has a situation which is unsurpassable. It has 6un, air, and privacy, and the most cheerful of outlooks, and is within two minutes' walk of the Morningion tramway. Everything possible is provided for the convenience and comfort of patients, and with the experience of the proprietress and the fact that a registered nurse is kept on the premises, the best ajid most careful treatment by this admittedly highly successful method is assured. A large portion of tho institute is set off and fitted up with a very complete hydropathic* installation, comprising needle bath, spray, douche, ehower and plunjre, alao hot air and steam baths. Attached to and opening off the hydropathic room are fullyequipped rooms for massage 3 and packing; of patients. The new institute* has been inspected by Dr Valintine, Inspector., general of Hospitals, and met with hia approval. Local medicos have also visited the new institute, and speak in praiseworthy terms of it.
