CHRISTCHURCH, June 12. Lionel Terry, who is serving a life sentence for the murder of a Chinaman in Haining street, "Wellington, considerably, over a year ago. has been imprisoned in Lyttelton Gaol fcinee December 13, conse* quent on his threats while at the Sunny^ side Mental Hospital to murder an atten* dant. Terry having been declared insane, the hospital of the gaol was gazetted ai lunatio asylum during his occupancy of rtv Terry has now been removed under ,tha escort Of fonr warders to the Scacliff Mentaif Hospital, and it is understood that he will be sent to Lamach's Castle, which is to> become a oriminal mental hospital by a recent Gazette proclamation. The hospital of Lyttelton Gaol, therefore, ceases to be t mental hospital.
