HELENSVILLE HOT SPRINGS.

AUCKLAND, June 10. The Hon. G. Fowlds to-day visited Helensville for the purpose of formally opening the new bath-house at the hot springs. A large number of Auckland viaitore attended. The supply 16 said to be permanent, and the medicinal qualities undoubted. Government assistance towards erecting a caretaker's house and beautifying the grounds was asked for. The Minister gave a very sympathetic reply. He said he believed a very great tourist traffic would develop, and he thought the Tourist Department would take over the springs.
