The Government has set a6i'de sections 49 to 53, block IV, Menzies' Ferry, as a 23 to 26 acres, and are open for sale. CARTERTON, June 14. The Government has definitely decided to take the Carrington Estate, 6178 acres, the property of Mr W. Howard Booth. WELLINGTON, June 15. The Government has decided to acquire compulsorily the entailed Culverden Estate, consisting of about 20,000 acres, for which Sir John Hall and the Hon. Mr Stevens are the trustees.
