WASHINGTON, June 11. There is much uneasiness at Washington owing to the disquieting tenor of the despatches from Tokio. Bellicose language i« attributed to Tani, the Leader of the Opposition, in a speech in the House of Peers at Tokio. June 12. Mr Taft (United States Secretary for War), on being interviewed, exclaimed: "War with Japan! Don't you believe it. Rest aesuied we will have no war with Japan." SAN FRANCISCO, June 14. The aggrieved Japanese are suing the municipality for damages due to losses through attacks on their restaurants.
