THE INFLUENCE OF CONGREGATIONALISM.
I The evening sitting of the council took the form of a public meeting at which Addies*es were given by the Rev. J. M. Stoop*. BA. (Onehunga), and the Rev. W. A. E\ans (Xewtown, Wellington) on '" Congregationalism as a Force in Religious and National Life." The Rev. "W. Day presided, and there was a large attendance. The choir of the Moray place Congregational Church very acceptably led the singing and contributed a couple of anthems. The church organist, Mr D. Cooke, presided at the organ with his accustomed efficiency.
