PEACH CEEAM
Peach cream is a seasonable dessert of, Selectable quality. It calls for six peaches raied and saced, two eggs, one-quaiter cup powdered sugw, one tablespoonful corn star^ we* in cold milk, one teaspooniul meited butter, and one-half pint of milk. Scold tue milk, stir in the vornatarch, and when it begins to thicken take from the fire and &tir in = tho butter. When lukewarm whip in tno beaten yolks ti2l nil are very l!ght. Put tha peaches into * dish, strew the sugar over them, then pour over the creamy compound. Bake in a quick oven 10 mirute3, and spread with a meringue made of the whites beaten «tiff wuth two tablespoonfuls of powdered sugar Place in rhe oven till firm. Eat cold with cream.
