SCULLING TOURNAMENT.

SYDNEY, February 13. In the sculling tournament on the Parramatta course Arnst qualified for the final in the All-comers' Handicap, beating L.Pearce, who conceded him Bsec. He won by a couple of lengths in. ll^nain. February 16. The All-comers Sculling Handicap resulted: — Arnst. 31sec, 1; Kemp 30* ec, 2.; Day, 34sec, 3. The New Zealander led throughout, and won by two lengths.- Time, 12min &BOC. February 18. Must's sculling was the snbiect of

favourable comment by several experts aboard the steamer following the race. Stanbury expressed admiration of the power* of the big New Zealander. YACHT RACE. SYDNEY, February 16. The yachting race for the Gascodgne Cup. over an ocean course, took place to-day, and resulted as follows: — Awanui 1, Rawhiti 2, Heather 3. Won by 6min 25sec, with 16sec between second and third yachts.
