It is currently reported (-a\- :Lo Itn erton Star) that a number of .■merle rren, sons of bush settlor, at picsent working on the Orepuki extenbion are to make way for a number of married men from another part of the colony. It is understood that Mr J. C. Thomson. M.TT R , has taken the matter up. and has communicated with the Minister of Public Works regarding- the matter.
